First Impressions
J.F. Webb High School has a rich 50-year legacy. Several current staff attended Webb High School and returned as adults. During our district’s School Improvement Retreat, one teacher accurately described Webb as “misunderstood”. Before visiting Webb for the first time, some expressed to me a negative view of Webb. However, when I first visited the school in May, I found Webb to be friendly, clean, and inviting. Students and staff greeted me, class transitions ran smoothly, and classes were orderly. Principal Rice demonstrated an amazing rapport with both students and staff and has been credited with making positive changes to Webb’s school culture and community image.
